There’s a lot going on in Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector… This week, there were two events in the region: A major aviation summit in Riyadh, called the Future Aviation Forum, and a tourism and travel event in Dubai, the Arabian Travel Market. Both created significant news in the sector… The Kingdom’s bounce-back after the pandemic has been one of the strongest in the world. 62 million domestic and international visits were recorded over the last year, making a 72 percent recovery to pre-pandemic levels. Saudi Arabia aims to exceed 70 million tourist visits this year, all of this according to comments from Saudi Tourism Authority CEO Fahd Hamidaddin.
